SLCC alum celebrates Salt Lake area sites in exhibit at South City

Be sure to check out Salt Lake Community College alum T.K. Stephens' "Greater Salt Lake" exhibit at the George S. & Dolores Doré Eccles Art Gallery at the College's South City Campus until September 8, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (closed Saturdays and Sundays).

SLCC West Valley Center Grand Opening

Salt Lake Community College joined the community and leaders Aug. 15 to open our newest location, West Valley Center , 3460 S. 5600 West in West Valley City. A ribbon cutting was held with special guests, Utah Rep. Sophia DiCaro, Utah Sen. Luz Escamilla, and West Valley City Councilman Corey Rushton. Guests were given tours of the facilities, refreshments and gifts. Whether it’s the basics, such as English or math, or more off-the-beaten path, such as astronomy or yoga, West Valley Center offers a variety of subjects to fit many goals and aspirations. Welcome Week introduces new and continuing students to SLCC’s vibrant campus life.  It's held during the first three weeks of Fall Semester and  offers opportunities to explore Salt Lake Community College’s comprehensive resources, to meet other students, and to attend events and programs designed especially for new and returning college students.  We encourage all students to attend free Welcome Week events.
