Salt Lake Community College presents the Carols of Christmas concert. The concert features performances by the SLCC combined concert choirs, and will include many of the most beloved holiday songs. It will take place on December 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, located at South Temple and C Street in Salt Lake City.
The College Concert Choirs consists of the SLCC Chamber Singers, the College Chorale and Salt City Voices. The Chamber Singers is made up of forty auditioned students majoring in fields from automotive trades to music. One hundred student voices contribute to the College Chorale, which is dedicated to the distinctive and varied repertoire for large choir. Salt City Voices is a fifteen member vocal and instrumental ensemble devoted to performing contemporary music.
The Carols of Christmas is the final performance of the College’s Fall Choir Concert series.
The SLCC Fall Choir Concert series is part of the College’s Arts & Cultural Events (ACE) program. ACE works with organizations across and outside of the College to support a wide variety of cultural activities such as lectures, musical concerts, multicultural celebrations, live performances, and conferences.
