Moon Taxi Lands at Twilight – Up Next: Snoop Dogg

Moon Taxi drove fans wild for the third show of the Salt Lake Community College Twilight Concert Series . Each concert, which takes place at the Gallivan Center in downtown Salt Lake City, features at least one local artist and a main act. Diplo and Robert DeLong headlined the first two shows of the series, and DJ Snoopadelic (aka Snoop Dogg) will take the stage Sept. 6 for the series’ fourth concert, which is sold out.   King Princess & Flora Cash will close Twilight on Sept. 13.

Annual Golf Tournament Benefitting SLCC Scholarships Coming Up in September

The Gail Miller Utah Leadership Cup at Hidden Valley Country Club, scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2018, offers a chance to enjoy a day of golf on one of the state’s premier courses while supporting deserving students attending Salt Lake Community College. The Cup will be an unforgettable golf experience that will raise money for scholarships and help SLCC fulfill its mission of making higher education financially accessible to anyone who desires to obtain it. We invite you to participate in and support this tournament to help more students achieve their dreams through education. Please bring a team – more teams lead to more scholarships. SLCC Twilight Concert Series Drawing Crowds

Multi-instrumental electronic music maestro Robert DeLong wowed loyal fans and those new to his work at the 2018 Salt Lake Community College Twilight Concert Series. Local band Mojave Nomads opened up for DeLong. The remaining concerts will take place on Thursday evenings, Aug. 30 (Moon Taxi), and Sept. 6 (Snoop Dogg – THIS SHOW IS SOLD OUT) and 13 (King Princess & Flora Cash). For a complete list of upcoming acts, click here . The Salt Lake Community College Twilight Concert Series is one of the longest-running and most revered public arts programs in Salt Lake City. Over the last 30 years, the Thursday night summer concert series has presented renowned artists in a variety of genres, including indie-rock, hip-hop, reggae and blues. SLCC has worked this year alongside Broadway Media and the Salt Lake City Arts Council to create a lineup worthy of the Twilight name. Below are photos from the Robert DeLong/Mojave Nomads concert.
