Grand Theatre Presents Christmas Double Bill

The first annual “Two Crutch Christmas Double Bill” presents Amahl and the Night Visitors and A Christmas Carol in one show Dec. 1-3 at Salt Lake Community College’s Grand Theatre, 1575 South State Street, Salt Lake City. Shows are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

Arrival of Scholarship Funds Celebrated at Consulate of Mexico

Salt Lake Community College’s Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs Director Shellie Jo Enscoe and other SLCC staff members gathered at the Consulate of Mexico in Salt Lake City to accept a ceremonial $9,000 check from the IME Becas Scholarship fund.

SLCC Dance Co. and Company Dazzle With 'Moving Words'

The Salt Lake Community College Dance Company, under the direction of Tess Boone, will be performing Moving Words Nov. 18-19, 7:30 p.m. each night at the Grand Theatre on South City Campus, 1575 S. State Street. Performances include: House of Lewis; Municipal Ballet Company; Utah Tap Cooperative; Wofa Afro Fusion Dance; SLCC alumni and more.

Artists Receive Awards at Annual President’s Show

The 2016 President’s Art Show opened Nov. 9 at the Salt Lake Community College South City Campus in the Center for Arts & Media's Multipurpose Room, where several artists received awards during a reception. This year’s annual juried event drew from more than 280 entries and celebrates the works of dozens of local professional and amateur artists with the hope of bringing together people from across the community.
