Alexa Rosales Guifarro Name: Alexa Rosales Guifarro Pronouns: She/Her/Ella Age: 19 Major: Associate in Social Work  Academic goals: To graduate and transfer to the BSW program at the University of Utah. Dream job: As a Social worker working with either immigrants or survivors of domestic violence. Plan B: Do something related to the social services area. Why higher education? To be able to have the job I have dreamed of and repay the sacrifices that my parents have made for me to have a better life than they did. Why SLCC: It is accessible and gives me the flexibility I need between my life, work, and school. "Graduating from college is a big deal. My parents are more excited than I am for commencement, I am shy and don't feel comfortable with attention, but I am doing it for my parents.
