Help for Small Businesses Available through Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program at Salt Lake Community College

Utah’s small businesses have another opportunity to take advantage of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program at Salt Lake Community College to help create jobs and economic opportunity in Utah. The College is currently seeking small business owners to participate in the second training cohort, which will begin on August 16.  Applications are being accepted now through June 3.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an education program for business owners who have survived the start-up phase and are poised for growth. Accepted participants will receive a full scholarship to the program, which includes comprehensive business management education curriculum, a suite of business support services such as one-on-one business advising and networking clinics, and opportunities to access capital.

May 23, 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Miller Professional Development Center 220

SLCC Announces Soft Reopening of Some Services

Salt Lake Community College officials are pleased to report the college will resume some services with limited hours of operation and some restrictions at three campuses, starting May 18.College officials ask that the hour of 10-11 a.m. be reserved for “high-risk” population (*see criteria below) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. are open to the general public. Current Building Closures

In order to ensure the safety of our students and staff during the COVID-19 outbreak, it’s become necessary to adjust the availability of our on-campus facilities. Some buildings have limited hours, some are temporarily closed, and some are only available to the public or to students by appointment. 

Building accessibility status as of April 1 is listed below. Hours are subject to change at any time, but the most current information will always be available at SLCC’s COVID-19 webpage

Monday–Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
