Intermountain Healthcare recently donated $100,000 to Salt Lake Community College in support of a scholarship program that will benefit diversity in nursing. “We are excited to support the Salt Lake Community College nursing program in this important work that will benefit the nursing students and also the many patients they will serve throughout their careers,” said Mikelle Moore, vice president of Intermountain Community Benefit. “Healthcare and nursing leaders recognize the connection between a diverse nursing workforce and the ability to provide high quality care to meet a variety of patient needs in our communities.
