Explore SLCC

Join Salt Lake Community College as we host our annual Explore SLCC open house on Tuesday, March 12, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus. This is a free event, open to the community where everyone can learn more about the programs and resources SLCC offers.

Explore SLCC helps familiarize students with the institution and introduces them to the SLCC community as they learn to navigate the college system. They will learn about all the programs and resources SLCC has to offer to ensure they have a successful college education in and out of the classroom.

Degree and technical programs will be in attendance. Whether people need assistance starting a career, pursuing a college or university degree, or a certification to go directly into the workforce, Explore SLCC will have all the resources necessary for students to make the right choice.

Admissions application assistance will be available at the event for those students interested in enrolling in either degree or technical fields at SLCC. The application takes less than 20 minutes, and students and their families can continue exploring SLCC after applying.

There will be a free parking area for those in attendance; signage will be placed to direct prospective students and families to designated parking spots. Pre-registration for the events is highly encouraged but optional. Come Explore SLCC, meet our students, staff, and faculty, and discover why SLCC is the best fit for you!
