SLCC Beautification Day

Spring has arrived at SLCC and the Facilities Department's annual Beautification Day provides a fantastic opportunity for folks to connect and collaborate while strengthening and improving the SLCC community.

Just like a garden needs regular care and attention to flourish, our workplace also occasionally needs some TLC. By working together to make our surroundings more inviting, we can create a better atmosphere that will benefit all of us. The Beautification Day event is open to everyone, regardless of gardening experience. It is a chance for us to come together, learn from each other, and contribute to the beauty of our workplace.

The event will take place at four different campuses: Jordan Campus, Miller Campus, Redwood Campus and South City Campus. Join the community to plant flowers while transforming our workplace into a more vibrant and colorful space. Facilities will provide all the necessary tools and equipment; all that is needed is a positive attitude and a willingness to work together. The deadline to register for Beautification Day is May 17. Join us in cultivating a more beautiful college and a stronger Bruin community.

Because we are using your vehicles for training purposes, we offer members of the College discounts on parts and labor. Parts are at our cost plus 15% and the service fee is $20 per hour based on industry time standards (if the industry assigns an hour for a repair, that's all you're charged for, regardless of how much time it takes the student).
