SLCC Dental Hygiene Clinic With a generous grant from Intermountain, SLCC's Dental Hygiene students can now provide dental cleaning and x-rays to patients at no cost while gaining practical experience. SLCC Unveils New Plaza

Salt Lake Community College Alder Amphitheater, located at the Taylorsville campus, has long been a central hub for students and the community to enjoy outdoor performances. Recently, it underwent a remarkable transformation into a vibrant plaza. The newly designed Alder Plaza features outdoor learning spaces, venues for events, food trucks, and plenty of space to unwind and relax. The spirit of the old Alder Amphitheater lives on in the new plaza, in part thanks to another generous gift from the Alder family. Their continuous support and advocacy for SLCC have been instrumental in transforming the college into a place of engaged learning. Bruce and Coralie Alder, along with Bruce’s parents, the late Jack and Kay Alder, have left a beautiful legacy for past, present and future SLCC Bruins to enjoy.  In addition to their generous contribution to the creation of the Alder Plaza, Bruce and Coralie have been actively involved in service to SLCC. Coralie's current role as a member of SL
