SafeUT App Now Available for SLCC Students

We are excited to announce the implementation of the School Safety and Crisis Text Line for students at Salt Lake Community College. SafeUT is a tool designed to provide confidential two-way communication with crisis counselors through the SafeUT Mobile App. SafeUT services are provided through the University of Utah’s Crisis Center at the University Neuropsychiatric Institute (UNI), and all interactions are handled by licensed master’s level clinicians. Students who call or start a crisis chat through the mobile app will connect directly to a crisis counselor 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Students can also use the SafeUT phone app to send non-crisis tips. All tips are completely confidential. The SafeUT Mobile App is available free in the Apple or Google Play store.
