Get Online Utah: Free Event for Utah Businesses

The Utah Small Business Development Center (UT SBDC) at Salt Lake Community College, in partnership with Google, is hosting a free event on March 8, 2012 to help Utah businesses get online.

“Utah Get Your Business Online” will provide the resources the State’s businesses need to create an online presence. Participants registered for the event will learn how to create a website and learn how to grow business online using methods such as search engine optimization (SEO), web analytics and more.   Web professionals in attendance will provide one-on-one instruction and give businesses the tools and resources to succeed.

Volleyball Team Also Excels in the Classroom

The Salt Lake Community College volleyball program is one of the nation's top junior college programs on the court but the Bruins are also one of the leaders in the classroom. The program released its academic accomplishments from the 2018-19 academic year over the Memorial Day weekend, celebrating several individual and team accomplishments. SLCC's awards represent another year where the Bruins have been recognized for the success of their student-athletes.  Salt Lake coach   Sue Dulaney   said the team focuses on academics in almost all of their team activities. "We are very proud of the accomplishments that our team has achieved academically," she said.
