Laughs Abound in Black Box's 'Much Ado About Nothing'

Salt Lake Community College's Black Box Theatre presents director Zac Curtis' production of the Shakespeare classic "Much Ado About Nothing," Dec. 1-2 and 7-9, 7:30 p.m., at SLCC's South City Campus, 1575 S. State Street, Salt Lake City. A 13-member production crew and a seven-member costume team support 15 student actors amid an elaborate set that simulates the interior and exterior of a ski lodge in present-day Aspen, where all of the fast-paced, hilarious action unfolds. Salt Lake Community College’s annual Undergraduate Projects, Performances, Presentations, and Research Conference (UP3RC) is set to take place on April 2, at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus, offering students a chance to showcase their academic achievements, fostering a culture of intellectual exchange.
