David Hubert, Assistant Provost of Learning Advancement at
Salt Lake Community College, recently had his article “Eportfolios, Assessment,
and General Education Transformation” appear in Peer Review, a publication of
the Association of American Colleges & Universities. The AACU calls itself
“A voice and a force for liberal education in the 21st Century.”
Hubert’s article can be found here in Peer Review’s Summer 2016 issue, which
focuses on “Advancing Equity and Student Success through Eportfolios.”

Part of Hubert’s article reads:
“If a critical
mass of a student’s instructors incorporate eportfolio effectively in their
courses—instead of making it an add-on to an otherwise unchanged
course—students begin to understand that eportfolios are a means of documenting
and reflecting upon their learning. … We have evidence that eportfolios are
helping students better understand and intentionally work toward general
education learning outcomes. … After
our ten-year accreditation visit in 2014, SLCC received a commendation from its
regional accreditor for the way we use eportfolios to assess general education
learning outcomes.”
I really like your post. Thanks so lot for your convene. I’m very fired up to show it to anyone. Thanks so much with this fantastic this post.
