The Salt Lake Community College men's soccer team won two games Friday and Saturday against the College of Southern Nevada, while the women's team tied Nevada 0-0 the first day and won 3-0 the next day. As of Oct. 3, the men had improved to 9-1-1 overall and the women were 4-1-4, each with three more home games in October leading into the Region 18 and District tournaments later this month and in November. SLCC West Valley Center will be opening its doors on Friday, August 2, from 6-9 pm for their annual lowrider event that celebrates the automotive culture and welcomes current, past, and future Bruins into the SLCC community.
