Students Organize 'Keep A Bruin Warm!' Winter Clothing Drive

This holiday season, Salt Lake Community College staff, faculty and students can donate new and used coats, jackets, socks, footwear and gloves during the Keep A Bruin Warm! drive, organized by SLCC students through the Thayne Center for Service & Learning.

On Nov. 20, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can donate items on the second floor of the Student Center at the SLCC Taylorsville Redwood Campus. Then, on Nov. 22, same time and place, you can help in the distribution of those items. For more information, contact the Thayne Center at 801-957-4555.

SLCC's Undergraduate Annual Research Conference Registration Deadline

Salt Lake Community College’s annual Undergraduate Projects, Performances, Presentations, and Research Conference (UP3RC) is set to take place on April 2, at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus, offering students a chance to showcase their academic achievements, fostering a culture of intellectual exchange. The UP3RC is an annual event designed to celebrate and highlight the academic accomplishments of undergraduate students. It provides a supportive environment for students to share their work, hone their presentations skills, receive constructive feedback, and engage in meaningful discussions with their peers and faculty.
