The year 2021 is finally here! SLCC is excited to have students back on campus this spring, and we are looking to get the semester off to a safe and healthy start. To achieve this, we are asking each student who attends at least one in-person class or lab per week to participate in COVID-19 testing by January 22.
If this applies to you, please make an appointment to get tested at one of our on-campus testing facilities. The current testing schedule is as follows:
- January 5 - 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus Student Center.
- Starting January 11, testing will be available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at both the Taylorsville Redwood and South City campuses. The South City testing location is at CCM 1-110.
For students who qualify for on-campus testing, if you get tested at one of our locations by January 22, you will receive a $10 credit on your OneCard. This credit can be used at your convenience at any campus location where OneCards are accepted for payment, including food courts and bookstores.
You MUST be asymptomatic in order to participate in on-campus testing. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you will be directed to pursue off-campus testing and self-isolate while you wait for your results.
Testing appointments can be made online. From start to finish, testing should take no more than two minutes, and your results will be emailed to you the same day.
Please be aware that the testing schedule is subject to change based on demand. The latest schedule and location information can always be found by accessing SLCC’s testing appointment tool.
