Undefeated Softball Team Ascends to No. 1 NJCAA Rank in Nation

A perfect record of 22-0 has helped the Salt Lake Community College softball team rise to the nation's top spot in the latest NJCAA rankings.

SLCC is now the No. 1-ranked team in the country, in this week's version of the NJCAA polls. The Bruins, who swept in-state rival USU Eastern last weekend, are off to a 12-0 start in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

Salt Lake will be on the road this upcoming weekend, playing at Snow College for doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday. The Bruins will return home April 2 to host the College of Southern Nevada.
