Miles Broadhead recently was appointed general manager of Taher Professional Food Service, the company overseeing catering and cafes at SLCC campuses. The SLCC alumnus has worked 20 years in the restaurant industry, most recently as manager at Punch Bowl Social, a 15,000-square-foot dining and entertainment center.
He also worked as a manager for Marriott International, Hilton Hotels, Kimpton Hotels and for several independent restaurants. At SLCC, he will oversee Fresh Seasons Café at both the Taylorsville Redwood and Miller campuses as well as collegewide catering.
Broadhead is a 1998 Olympus High School graduate and studied political science from 2014-2016 at SLCC. While enrolled, he was student north region vice president and served on the Student Senate.
“I hope to make SLCC the first choice for hungry Bruins,” Broadhead says. “I want an inclusive program that serves the freshest ingredients and variety that will keep people interested.”
