Una Mano Amiga Scholarship Workshop


The Peer Mentoring Program "Una Mano Amiga" invites you to the "Scholarship Workshop" that will be held on Tuesday February 4, 2014 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, at the Multipurpose Room 1-032. It will be held at Salt Lake Community College - South City campus (1575 South State Street).

Take advantage of this opportunity and learn about the different scholarships available for students who are documented or undocumented (dreamers), help lower your education cost, if you qualify as well. This workshop is designed to increase your knowledge and open the doors to new opportunities and options available for you in order to achieve your educational dreams.

El Programa "Una Mano Amiga" te invita a participar en el “Taller de Becas", que se llevara a cabo  el dia martes 4 de febrero del 2014, de 3:00 a 4:00 pm ,en South City Campus- Multipurpose Room 1-032, (1575 South State Street). Aprovecha esta oportunidad y aprende acerca de los diferentes becas que están disponibles para los estudiantes, ya sean documentados o indocumentados. Este taller esta diseñado para mejorar tu conocimiento en relación a los requerimientos que necesitas para aplicar por las diferentes becas. No pierdas la oportunidad de obtener un dinero extra, que te ayudara a bajar el costo de tu educación.

Did you know you can access SLCC lab software for free from your own computing device?   Come learn how SLCC is supporting BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) with All Access. The goal of All Access is to provide any time, any place, and any device access to college computing and lab software SLCC students, faculty and staff.  All Access works on almost any device from a PC or Mac, to tablets and smart phones.  With All Access you can use programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, AutoCAD, MatLab, Mathematica, MyITLab, NetBeans, and online Library Databases.  We also provide you with online storage space so you can save your files in the cloud and have access to them wherever you are.  Anyone is welcome to this session where we will cover the basics of All Access, give you some tips and tricks for getting the most out the system, and we’ll also have some people there to help get your computer set up.  When and where: ...
