Frankie Condon is an Associate Professor in the
Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Waterloo in
Ontario, Canada. She studies the discourses of race and racism and has acted as
an organizer, trainer, and activist in a variety of community antiracist
organizations. In addition to numerous articles and book chapters, Frankie is
the author of Join the Band: Narrative, Affiliation and Antiracist Rhetoric
and a co-author of The Everyday Writing Center: A Community of Practice
(both published by Utah State University Press). She lives in Waterloo with her children,
partner, two dogs, a cat, and a chinchilla named Sid.
