Mark your calendars for the historic first-ever NJCAA home games Sept. 16 and 17 for Salt Lake Community College's men's and women's soccer teams.
The Bruins will take on USU-Eastern both days at 2 p.m. on the 16th and 11 a.m. on the 17th (women play first both days) on home turf outside of the west side of the Lifetime Activities Center, located at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus, 4600 South Redwood Road.
In the past SLCC has hosted club teams for men's and women's soccer, but in 2016 the teams joined the National Junior College Athletic Association. The regular season will end Oct. 20, followed by the Region 18 and District tournaments. If the teams do well in tournament action, they will move on to national tournaments in Florida (women's) and Texas (men's).
