Salt Lake Community College will be hosting the annual Utah
Sponsored Projects Administration Network (USPAN) Conference this year for the
first time. The conference will be June 23, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the SLCC
Taylorsville Redwood Campus. Each annual conference personnel working in research and grant administration at Utah's higher education institutions gather at a college or
university in Utah to build relationships and share ideas and best practices. For
the upcoming conference attendees will talk about working with government agencies to
secure public funding resources, share successes of sponsored research and scholarship at their institutions and discuss how to interpret and apply government regulations. SLCC's Office of Sponsored Projects and Business Office are excited to be hosting the
conference, which demonstrates the growth and depth of SLCC's sponsored project portfolio. For more information on SLCC’s Office of Sponsored
Projects or USPAN, contact osp@slcc.edu.

SLCC is renaming its Business Building the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Business Building in honor of the Miller family’s legacy and contributions to the community. The business school will be named the Gail Miller School of Business in recognition of the strong business acumen Gail Miller displays as a community leader and as the owner and immediate past chair of the Larry H.
