Salt Lake Community College’s Grand Theatre will be holding auditions for Monty Python’s Spamalot on March 3, 2018. Dance auditions will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and vocal auditions will take place from 12:30-3. Those wishing to audition will need to sign up for a dance audition session and vocal time slot. The show will run May 17 through June 9. Jamie Rocha Allan will direct, with choreography by Frida Moses and music direction by Michael Leavitt.
Call backs will be held on March 13, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Rehearsals will begin on April 7, 2018 and will be held (apart from tech week) Monday – Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Please record a one- to two-minute monologue from the show and upload to YouTube as an Unlisted (NOT PRIVATE) video and send the link to SpamalotGrandTheatre@gmail.com no later than March 3, 2018. For the vocal audition, please prepare 16 bars of music, no longer than 30 seconds, from the show. A pianist will be provided. Please bring a headshot and resume.

Auditions will be held on the Grand Theatre stage at 1575 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Parking is available at no charge in the student parking areas on the east side of the building.
