Every spring Salt Lake Community College hosts a scholarship luncheon, when donors get to meet recipients and students can put a face to those funding their scholarships and thank them in person. This year more than 150 people met at the Oak Room on the Taylorsville Redwood Campus. Dominion Energy senior philanthropy coordinator, Debra Hoyt, announced a $25,000 donation, with $15,000 going toward PACE students and $10,000 for STEM students who are near completion but have run out of financial aid. SLCC President Deneece G. Huftalin hosted the event, which was emceed by SLCC Foundation Board member and donor John Parrish. Below are a few photos from the event.
