Salt Lake Community College recently received national and regional awards for work with students and the college community.
The Institutional Marketing and Communications department received honors from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations at this year's Paragon Awards in Las Vegas. The annual awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges. This year, more than 230 two-year colleges in North America submitted over 1,900 entries.
The college received four awards for marketing and public relations efforts, as well as the prestigious Best in Show Award for their work on enrollment efforts.

The annual awards program showcases best practices in alumni relations, fundraising, public relations, advancement services, special events and communications.
