SLCC Black Box Theatre Burns with "Heat"

“Heat”, written by Martha Estell, was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for Outstanding New Work and was featured in the 2011 Dramatic Reading series at Fleetwood Jourdain theatre. Heat was a finalist in the Dayton Playhouse Future-Fest, Theodore Ward Award for African American Playwrights and a semifinalist for the Princess Grace Award. The production features Barbara Beard White as Mudear, Yolanda Artice Wood as Rose, Melissa Adams as Sharon and Nasheda Caudle as Shelly.
