Award-winning Poet: Improve Your Creativity

Don't miss the second Bruin Voices of the year, "Creativity in Four Metaphors." SLCC Associate Professor of English Lisa Bickmore will explore several metaphors for creativity and human creative potential yet to be imagined.

Bickmore is winner of the 2015 Ballymaloe International Poetry Prize. Her poems and videos have appeared in Quarterly West, Tar River Poetry, Caketrain, Sugarhouse Review, The Moth, Terrain, Mapping Salt Lake City, and Southward.

Her book "flicker" is forthcoming from Elixir Press. It won the 2014 Antivenom Prize.

Salt Lake Community College’s annual Undergraduate Projects, Performances, Presentations, and Research Conference (UP3RC) is set to take place on April 2, at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus, offering students a chance to showcase their academic achievements, fostering a culture of intellectual exchange. The UP3RC is an annual event designed to celebrate and highlight the academic accomplishments of undergraduate students.
