Lake Community College Community Writing Center Wins Mayor’s Artist Award
“All of us at the SLCC Community Writing Center are honored to receive this award—it speaks to the way the CWC has been engaged in the local residents' creativity over the past 10 years," Andrea Malouf, CWC Director said. "It is a great pleasure to be recognized for the work we do collaborating with people from the Salt Lake community to better express themselves through writing."
As an award winner, the CWC will be acknowledged and presented with $500 from the Utah Arts Festival on Friday, June 22, 2012. The Festival will be held in Salt Lake City from June 21-24.

ReplyDeleteI use the writing center every few weeks. The staff are great at giving a new perspective, clarifying ideas and discovering the most important aspect of the work.
