Salt Lake Community College Celebrates Former Students at London Olympics

Former Salt Lake Community College students Logan Tom and Shalaya Kipp will represent the United States in Volleyball and Track & Field, respectively. Both are natives of Salt Lake City. Tom graduated from Highland High school and Kipp from Skyline High school and studied at SLCC.

Tom is a veteran of three previous Olympic games—the Sydney Games in 2000 and the Athens Games in 2004 and the Beijing Games in 2008—and is the youngest woman volleyball player ever selected for the U.S. team.
