Salt Lake Community College is holding an open house for the Biotechnology program on Thursday, October 18. This session will be held from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the Health Sciences Center at the College’s Jordan Campus.
Students interested in learning about biotechnology careers and educational opportunities are welcome. In addition to providing information about program offered at the College, and a partnership with Utah Valley University that allows students to earn a bachelor's degree from UVU while remaining on the SLCC campus, several biotechnology activities will be offered. Participants will be able to make a DNA necklace, tour the biotech labs, and meet with academic advisors.
