Salt Lake Community College’s Fall Choir Concert series continues with the Salt City Jazz performance of ‘The Great American Songbook’ on Friday, November 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Grand Theatre, located at 1575 South State St. in Salt Lake City.
Salt City Voices is a fifteen member vocal and instrumental ensemble devoted to performing contemporary music. Winner of the Lionel Hampton Jazz festival and also named the “Best of Utah”, Salt City Voices helps students develop their abilities in the jazz, pop, and rock idioms.
The SLCC Fall Choir Concert series is part of the College’s Arts & Cultural Events (ACE) program. ACE works with organizations across and outside of the College to support a wide variety of cultural activities such as lectures, musical concerts, multicultural celebrations, live performances, and conferences.
