Rewarding career and technical training
opportunities are possible with the School of Applied Technology (SAT) at Salt
Lake Community College. SAT is hosting an
open house on November 28 to provide an overview of programs and facilities
offered at the Meadowbrook Campus. The event is free and open to the public.
SAT offers a variety of technical training
and certifications for careers in professional driving, networking and
information technology, healthcare, heating and air conditioning (HVAC) services,
diesel maintenance and more; many of which can be completed in less than one
year. The open house is from 6:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m., beginning in Building B Room 206, Salt Lake Community College
Meadowbrook Campus, at 250 West 3900 South, in Salt Lake City.
The open house will also feature other
college programs and facilities offered at the Meadowbrook Campus including
composites technology training and the solar photovoltaic training yard.
Registered guests will be eligible to win one
of several door prizes at the event.
