
“I’ve always enjoyed moving and have been amazed at how our bodies work and what they are capable of doing. I wanted to know why,” Butler said. “My last semester both my husband and oldest son were deployed to Afghanistan. It was a challenge, but I came away from school and those challenges realizing that I am capable of so much.”
SLCC’s Graduates of Excellence recognize one student from each of the College’s schools.
