Rewarding career and technical training opportunities are possible with the School of Applied Technology (SAT) at Salt Lake Community College. SAT is hosting an open house on November 28 to provide an overview of programs and facilities offered at the Meadowbrook Campus. The event is free and open to the public.
SAT offers a variety of technical training and certifications for careers in professional driving, networking and information technology, healthcare, heating and air conditioning (HVAC) services, diesel maintenance and more; many of which can be completed in less than one year. The open house is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., beginning in Building B Room 206, Salt Lake Community College Meadowbrook Campus, at 250 West 3900 South, in Salt Lake City.
The open house will also feature other college programs and facilities offered at the Meadowbrook Campus including composites technology training and the solar photovoltaic training yard.
Registered guests will be eligible to win one of several door prizes at the event. Registration closes on November 26 at www.slcc.edu/sat. For more information about the open house call Earnest Cooper at (801) 957-5217 or email earnest.cooperJr@slcc.edu.
