New SLCC Archives Exhibit, February 2013

It’s time for a new exhibit from the SLCC Archives & Digital Collections!

During February 2013 the SLCC Archives & Digital Collections are highlighting the History of the SLCC Nursing Program through physical and online exhibits. As the program is housed at the Jordan Campus, there will be physical exhibits at both theRedwood Markosian Library AND theJordan Campus Library!!! Photographs, scrapbooks, and other ephemera showing the development of the Nursing Programover the past 65 years will be displayed for all to see.

Come take a look at the History of SLCC’s Nursing Program and how much it has changed over the past six and a half decades. If you are unable to visit the physical exhibits at either SLCC Library, or would like to see more related materials from the SLCC Digital Collections, check out our Online Exhibit!

SLCC's Undergraduate Annual Research Conference Registration Deadline

Salt Lake Community College’s annual Undergraduate Projects, Performances, Presentations, and Research Conference (UP3RC) is set to take place on April 2, at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus, offering students a chance to showcase their academic achievements, fostering a culture of intellectual exchange. The UP3RC is an annual event designed to celebrate and highlight the academic accomplishments of undergraduate students. It provides a supportive environment for students to share their work, hone their presentations skills, receive constructive feedback, and engage in meaningful discussions with their peers and faculty. SLCC West Valley Center will be opening its doors on Friday, August 2, from 6-9 pm for their annual lowrider event that celebrates the automotive culture and welcomes current, past, and future Bruins into the SLCC community.
