Workshop: Learn to Build Your ePortfolio


Do you need help building an ePortfolio?

The Library can help!

The Markosian Library at the Redwood Campus will host ePortfolio Workshops for students that need help building their ePortfolios.

What to expect from the workshops:
  • Get the basic outline of your ePortfolio built.
  • The workshop lasts one hour. The instructor will get through as much as time permits.
  • There is no need to register in advance. Just show up.
  • The workshops will take place in Library Room 266, located at the second level of the library.
Workshops are taught at the following dates and times:
  • 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, April 13
  • 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 14
  • 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 15
  • 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, April 20
  • 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 21
  • 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 22
  • 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, April 27
  • 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 28
  • 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 29

If you cannot attend the workshops, or need further help with your ePortfolio, you can get help at the ePortfolio Lab, room 47 of the lower level of the Markosian Library.

Did you know you can access SLCC lab software for free from your own computing device?   Come learn how SLCC is supporting BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) with All Access. The goal of All Access is to provide any time, any place, and any device access to college computing and lab software SLCC students, faculty and staff.  All Access works on almost any device from a PC or Mac, to tablets and smart phones.  With All Access you can use programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, AutoCAD, MatLab, Mathematica, MyITLab, NetBeans, and online Library Databases.  We also provide you with online storage space so you can save your files in the cloud and have access to them wherever you are.  Anyone is welcome to this session where we will cover the basics of All Access, give you some tips and tricks for getting the most out the system, and we’ll also have some people there to help get your computer set up.  When and where: ...
