The Wellness Program is offering an 8-week Stress Management Program (Level 3) this summer. The program aims to educate participants about stress, the importance of having it, how to prevent it from causing harm, and how to grow through it.
Registered participants will meet at 10 to 11 a.m. every Friday, May 1–June 19 via WebEx. Submit the registration form to sign up for this Level 3 Stress Management program.

Retirement Benefit Resources
Utah Retirement Systems has a lot of resources to help you learn more about your retirement benefits. You can go online at URS.org to watch recorded webinars, adjust your accounts, and access other retirement education. You can call the URS Customer Service line at (801) 366-7700 for immediate help with your specific questions, and you can sign up on the website for an Individual Retirement Planning Session to make sure that you are on track for the retirement you are hoping for.

Creating a Desk Manual Two-Part Workshop Series for SLCC Staff
There’s nothing like a pandemic to motivate us to get our desk manuals and office instructions in order! The WAC program is providing a two-part workshop series to help you get it done. First, watch the Writing Effective Instructions video. Second, draft a set of instructions for one of your job responsibilities. Third, register for one of the WebEx Creating a Desk Manual Virtual Meetings below. In the workshop, you’ll share a draft with the WAC Director and three other participants. You’ll get feedback on your draft and will give feedback to the other participants.

Teach Anywhere Webinar
The Teach Anywhere webinar will introduce SLCC faculty to the many resources available to help them transition from teaching on campus to teaching remotely.
In this one-hour workshop, you will:
- Learn how to access eLearning's Teach Anywhere Guide
- Learn where to get help with Canvas
- Explore videoconferencing tools that you can use to create a virtual classroom, including WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and BigBlueButton, and discuss the pros and cons of each tool
- Add WebEx to Canvas
- Schedule a training session in WebEx
- Start a training session in WebEx
- Monitor chat and hand raising from participants
- Create breakout sessions for student groups
- Add Microsoft Teams to Canvas
- Schedule a meeting and invite your students to the meeting
