Hello fellow employees,

During this time, we know that many of you are working off campus due to the concerns of the coronavirus. We are committed to continue to provide opportunities for you to meet with a representative from our retirement partners.

Fidelity

TIAA

Local financial consultants in Utah are available for virtual one-on-one appointments. To register for the TIAA appointments, please go to Register for a 1:1 Virtual Session.

As a reminder, the retirement companies the school works with are: AIG (formerly Valic), Fidelity, TIAA, and Utah Retirement Systems. Any other company is not associated with the college. Someone working for Utah Retirement Systems will have a card that says Utah Retirement Systems, it will not say State Retirement. The college will let you know when appointments with any of these companies are available or give you the representative’s contact information at these companies. Please be cautious if an individual or other company approaches you about your retirement.

SLCC Automotive Repairs

Many SLCC automotive programs need vehicles to work on in these areas: 30 point inspections Oil changes Tire rotation Engine repair Brake systems repair Automatic and transmission repairs Air conditioning repair Electrical troubleshooting & repair Suspension & steering system repair Auto-body repair and painting (on a very limited basis) Please be advised that any repairs are done at the discretion of the instructors due to the subject areas they are teaching. Because we are using your vehicles for training purposes, we offer members of the College discounts on parts and labor. Parts are at our cost plus 15% and the service fee is $20 per hour based on industry time standards (if the industry assigns an hour for a repair, that's all you're charged for, regardless of how much time it takes the student).
