Salt Lake Community College welcomes Anni Tedder as the new Director of Academic Advising. Anni brings her 17 years of professional experience working in higher education in various roles, including admissions and academic advising. Anni's work has centered on serving students from underserved populations, assisting them in pursuing their educational goals by guiding them and teaching them to navigate the college system.

Anni was born in Queens, New York and raised in West Jordan, Utah. She is an alumna of the University of Utah. Anni obtained her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling and a graduate degree in Educational Leadership and Policy with an emphasis on Student Affairs.

Anni enjoys spending time with her family in her free time, attending her son's soccer games and taking advantage of any opportunity to enjoy Utah's nature. When time allows, she enjoys watching TV shows.

Salt Lake Community College’s annual Undergraduate Projects, Performances, Presentations, and Research Conference (UP3RC) is set to take place on April 2, at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus, offering students a chance to showcase their academic achievements, fostering a culture of intellectual exchange.
