Cost-efficient, flexible child care gives students the time and peace of mind to reach their educational goals.
SLCC Child Care & Family Services offers semester-based child care resources for all students. There are several funding options available for income-eligible students.
“Students should take advantage of resources now as some grants are available for a limited time,” said Child Care and Family Services director Holly Garcia.
Income-eligible students whose children attend non-SLCC child care can still apply to use certain funds at any licensed child care center in Utah.
SLCC currently has child care facilities on the Taylorsville Redwood South City campuses. A third center is under construction on the Jordan Campus and will be available for the spring semester. All centers are licensed and follow state recommended COVID-19 protocols.
