She also helps you align your intentions and your impact so that you can build strong and collaborative relationships.

Wellness Program

Holistic Self-Care Holiday Program

Hello SLCC Employees!

We know the Holiday Season may look different this year than past years. The Employee Wellness Team wants to help you navigate the season through a Holistic Self-Care Holiday Program! Wellness encompasses eight dimensions of health: physical, intellectual, psychological, social, spiritual, occupational, financial, and environmental. This is a great opportunity for employees to address the eight dimensions of health in their own lives.

During the holiday break, take the time to focus on balancing the wellness domains by independently participating in activities, education and assessments through a fun Bingo game. Each domain has three options of activities to choose from. This is not an incentivized program, however there are several activities within the game that do offer incentives.

When you are finished with the program, please fill out the short survey to let us know about your experience!

HB 261 and HB 257 Frequently Asked Questions

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students: The Utah Legislature recently passed two bills that significantly impact higher education:  HB 261  Equal Opportunity Initiatives and HB  257  Sex-Based Designations for Privacy, Anti-Bullying, and Women’s Opportunities. Salt Lake Community College is deeply committed to our students, faculty, and staff. We strive to be a place where all are welcomed and respected. While there are many unknowns about the ultimate effect these bills will have on some student and staff support programs, be assured that SLCC will maintain an environment where all can find success and feel a sense of belonging. In the coming months, college leadership will work to gain clarity and determine the changes necessary for legislative compliance. We will also share this information as it becomes available.  We realize that during this time, some in our college community may feel unsettled and stressed. We encourage you to make use of available SLCC resources designed to support y
