There is a need for enthusiastic, qualified, and certified instructors. To fill this need, SLCC has partnered with ACE (American Council on Exercise) to bring the Group Fitness Instructor Curriculum to help student prepare to sit for
their nationally recognized and accredited, by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), examination.

Yoga Teacher Training (http://www.slcccontinuinged.com/yoga)

Cost: $1,585.00** (Credit)
$1,379.50** (Non-Credit)
Yoga Teachers can bring the peace, joy and health of yoga into the lives of those around them by teaching, nurturing and giving in a way that creates positive energy in the lives of their students and their communities. This program is designed to fill all requirements for students to be able to register as Yoga Alliance 200 hour instructor. The successful completion of all courses with a C or better will result in a certificate.

Laughter Yoga Instructor Training (http://www.slcccontinuinged.com/lyoga) 
Aug. 25 – Dec. 8, 2012
Saturdays
7 AM – 9:50 AM
Cost: $431.00* (Credit)
$344.00* (Non-credit)
Laughter Yoga combines Unconditional Laughter with Yogic Breathing (Pranayama). Anyone can Laugh for No Reason, without relying on humor, jokes or comedy. The Laughter Yoga Leader Certification - Provides the theory on the structure of Laughter Yoga along with practice through participation in Laughter sessions in various forms. The techniques and ideas presented may be used for personal or professional purposes either alone or in groups. The training is 1 class for 3 credits.
