The B-Line!

As a result of changes in the College's UTA contract, the staff and faculty bus pass subsidy will no longer be offered. Staff and faculty must pay the full adult fair price for a 30-day pass. Semester passes are also available.

College employees can still use their OneCards as their bus pass by purchasing either the adult 30-day pass or the semester pass via SLCC's UTA website at https://www.rideuta.com/studentpass/ starting August 1, 2012.

After purchasing a pass online, the receipt can be brought to any ID center location at Taylorsville Redwood, South, Jordan, or Millercampus to get your OneCard activated as a bus pass.

The 30-day pass runs in a 30-day succession and not month to month.  The cost is $78.50 (This price will increase on April 1, 2013).

Fall semester passes are valid from August 20, 2012 – December 20, 2012. You may purchase a semester pass any time between August 1 – October 15, 2012. The cost is $319.25
Spring semesters passes are valid January 11, 2013 – May 9, 2013. You may purchase a semester pass any time between January 1, 2012 – April 15, 2012.

As another option, you may be able to take advantage of SLCC's New Inter-Campus Shuttle

Starting August 6 SLCC is providing to all students, staff, and faculty a FREE campus shuttle service called "The B-Line"!

The pilot route is from the South City Campus to the Meadowbrook TRAX station and then to the Taylorsville Redwood campus. The shuttle will leave South City at the east entrance starting at 7:00 am and will travel to the Meadowbrook TRAX station, then to the UTA bus stop on the north side of the Taylorsville Redwood campus. HB 261 and HB 257 Frequently Asked Questions

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students: The Utah Legislature recently passed two bills that significantly impact higher education:  HB 261  Equal Opportunity Initiatives and HB  257  Sex-Based Designations for Privacy, Anti-Bullying, and Women’s Opportunities. Salt Lake Community College is deeply committed to our students, faculty, and staff. We strive to be a place where all are welcomed and respected. While there are many unknowns about the ultimate effect these bills will have on some student and staff support programs, be assured that SLCC will maintain an environment where all can find success and feel a sense of belonging. In the coming months, college leadership will work to gain clarity and determine the changes necessary for legislative compliance. We will also share this information as it becomes available.  We realize that during this time, some in our college community may feel unsettled and stressed. We encourage you to make use of available SLCC resourc...
